Servers running mcMMO, which adds RPG-style skills like Mining, Swords and Herbalism that level up and unlock abilities as you play.
mcMMO is one of the most widely used Minecraft server plugins. It adds RPG-style skills to regular survival: whenever you mine, chop trees, fight, fish or farm, the matching skill gains experience. Higher levels unlock passive bonuses and active abilities.
Some examples:
Because skills reward everyday actions, mcMMO adds long-term progression without changing the core game. It is common on Survival, Towny and Factions servers. Check whether the server uses the standard level scale or a custom one, whether skills reset with new seasons, and whether there are leaderboards (usually via /mctop). Parties let you share experience with friends.
