Terms of Service

These terms apply to everyone who uses MinecraftServers.me, a site run by the MinecraftServers.me team (contact: [email protected]). By using the site you agree to them.

The service

MinecraftServers.me lists Minecraft servers run by third parties. We do not operate those servers and are not responsible for what happens on them, including purchases, bans or lost items. Status information comes from automated checks and may be delayed or inaccurate.

Accounts

You need an account to list a server. Authentication is provided by Clerk. Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Listing a server

• You may only list servers you own or are authorised to manage.
• Listings must be accurate: the correct address, edition, versions, gamemodes and country.
• You must have the rights to the text and images you upload, and grant us a licence to display them on the site and in related previews.
• No duplicate listings, scams, phishing, account trading, malware, hateful or sexual content, or anything illegal.
• Your server and store must follow Minecraft's usage guidelines and EULA. We may remove listings that clearly do not.

Every listing is reviewed by a moderator. We may reject, edit tags of, suspend or remove any listing at our discretion, and we will usually tell you why in your dashboard.

Voting

• Each player may vote for each server once per cooldown period (currently 24 hours).
• Automated voting, vote buying, using multiple identities or networks to vote, or forcing players to vote is not allowed. Rewarding players for voting is allowed.
• Votes are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile and rate limits. We may discard suspicious votes and reset or remove the votes of servers that manipulate the ranking.
• Monthly vote totals reset on the 1st of every month (UTC).

Featured placements

Featured placements are clearly labelled. While a placement runs, the server is shown first in every server list and holds one of the top ranks. We do not sell placements and do not process payments on the site. Placements are the five free daily picks among servers that meet the published requirements, plus servers we choose to feature at our discretion. There is no entitlement to a placement, and we may end one at any time.

Acceptable use

Do not attack, overload or scrape the site in ways that harm its operation, bypass rate limits or captchas, or use it to send spam. Automated access to public pages must respect robots.txt.

Disclaimer and liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it online and accurate, but we do not guarantee availability, the accuracy of status data or rankings, or that a listed server is safe or suitable for you. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses that arise from your use of a listed server or from interruptions of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you, such as liability for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury.

These terms are governed by the law of the operator's country of residence, and disputes are settled by the courts competent there. This does not take away the protection of mandatory consumer law in the country where you live, including your right to rely on its courts.
