Servers that support Minecraft 1.20 (Trails & Tales), ranked by player votes this month.
1.20 Trails & Tales (2023) brought archaeology, cherry grove biomes, camels, sniffers, armour trims and hanging signs. Version 1.20.5 then added the armadillo and wolf armour, and replaced item NBT with data components - a major change that broke many older plugins and mods.
That split is why some servers settled on 1.20.1 or 1.20.4: popular modpacks and mod loaders built around those versions remained in use long after newer releases. Plugin servers on 1.20 typically let newer clients connect with ViaVersion.
Featured servers are shown first: paid placements and five servers picked every day.
