Build on your own plot in a shared city, earn money in resetting farm worlds and trade in a market run by the players.
Citybuild is especially popular on German and other European servers. The server is split into two parts: a city world with protected plots where you build your home or shop, and farm worlds where you gather resources in survival. Farm worlds reset regularly, so the city stays tidy while resources keep flowing.
Typical Citybuild features:
Citybuild sits between Creative and Survival: you need survival resources, but building is safe and the focus is on what you create and sell. When choosing a server, check the language of the community, how often farm worlds reset, and whether the store sells items or money directly. A healthy market of player-run shops is the best sign of an active Citybuild.

Citybuild is a gamemode where players build on protected plots in a shared city world and gather resources in separate farm worlds that reset regularly. The economy and player shops are at the centre of the gameplay.
On Creative servers you have unlimited blocks. On Citybuild you farm or buy your materials in survival, so building takes real effort and the server economy matters.
