To join, install the same Cobblemon version and extra mods the server lists, usually as a Modrinth or CurseForge modpack. Versions must match: a client with a different Cobblemon or Minecraft release will be refused. Compare servers by mod list, how legendary spawns are handled and whether the economy is player-driven. Cobblemon and Pixelmon are separate projects and cannot be mixed.
