Servers that support Minecraft 1.7 (The Update that Changed the World), ranked by player votes this month.
1.7 The Update that Changed the World (2013) rewrote world generation with many new biomes, added new flowers and stained glass, and moved the game's networking to a new protocol.
1.7.10 is a classic modded version with a large library of Forge mods and modpacks that some communities still play. Plugin servers on 1.7 are rare today; a server that lists it usually runs newer software and lets 1.7 clients connect through ViaRewind. Very old server software has known security issues, so prefer servers that run maintained builds.
Featured servers are shown first: paid placements and five servers picked every day.
