Form a faction, claim land, build a fortified base and raid rivals with TNT cannons in one of the most competitive server gamemodes.
Factions servers turn Minecraft into a territorial war game. Players create or join a faction, claim chunks of land and build bases that rivals will try to raid. Claims are tied to power: every member adds power and every death costs some. If a faction's power drops below the land it holds, enemies can overclaim it.
What makes Factions distinctive:
Factions is team-heavy and time-consuming, so new players usually do best by joining an established faction. Check the map length, grace period, faction size limit and alliance rules. Variants such as HCF or Factions with custom enchants change the pace considerably.
Featured servers are shown first: paid placements and five servers picked every day.

Raiding usually means breaking into another faction's base with TNT cannons, or overclaiming their land when their power is lower than the number of chunks they hold. Most servers only allow raiding after the grace period ends.
You can, but it is hard. Bases need many hours of building and defending, and solo players are easy targets. Joining or forming a small faction is the usual way to start.
