Minecraft 1.11 Servers

1.11 Exploration Update (2016) introduced woodland mansions and exploration maps, the evoker, vex and vindicator, llamas, shulker boxes, observers and the totem of undying.

Shulker boxes and totems made 1.11 an important step for survival and PvP gameplay, but servers rarely stayed on it: 1.12 followed within months with broader mod and plugin support. Servers listing 1.11 typically accept it as part of a wider version range through ViaVersion or ViaBackwards.
